Residential Support Specialists

Residential Support Specialists work in Northpointe’s home settings to meet the needs of those with a developmental/intellectual disability and/or mental illness. These caregivers work with the residents to achieve the greatest level of independence, enjoy life to it’s fullest, and ensure they are integrated into the community.  Our homes strive for high quality and safe care in a clean, comfortable home-like atmosphere.

Location(s):
  • Norway (Full-Time, Part-Time, & Special Part-Time)
  • Kingsford (Full-Time, Part-Time, & Special Part-Time)
  • Iron River (Full-Time, Part-Time, & Special Part-Time)

Wage Scale: 8 Step Scale ~ $15.57 – $20.50

Community Support Specialists

The Community Support Specialist provides support to individuals to maintain living in an independent setting. The goal of this position is coach, prompt, and train individuals to learn skills necessary to maintain or achieve independence, create an opportunity to achieve goals, and to foster community inclusion.

Location(s):    Menominee, Kingsford, & Iron River               Hours:  Full-Time & Part-Time                              Wage 8 Step Scale – $15.20  – $19.34

Director of Finance

Oversees agency finance and budget related matters. Directs budgeting, audit, contracting, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities for the organization. Establishes procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services. The Director of Finance with work directly with the interim Chief Financial Officer as a mentor.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field or Associate Degree with five years of experience in governmental accounting and finance or budgeting.
Proven aptitude with a financial software package.
Proficient in Excel.

Location:  Kingsford             Full-time position                            Wage is on an 8 step scale – $56,751 to $76,700 based on experience

Care Managers

Looking for a variety of professionals who qualify to work as a Behavioral Health Care Manager!

    • Bachelor Degree in Social Work
    • Bachelor Degree in Human Services Field
    • Registered Nurse

In the role as a Care Manager, licensed professionals have the privilege of working with individuals to reach their hopes, dreams, and desires through person-centered planning. The Care Manager is responsible for linking and coordinating individuals to services and supports within Northpointe and within the community. The goal is to assist individuals to develop natural support systems, obtain medically necessary services, and gain/maintain skills to achieve independence. Our Care Managers have the  opportunity  to  impact  lives  in  a significant  way.  Opportunities exist to work in this role in a variety of programs with different populations of people including children, families, and adults.

  • Menominee- Outpatient/School Based

Behavioral Health Therapists

Looking for a variety of professionals who qualify to work as a Behavioral Health Therapist!

        • Master’s Degree in Social Work
        • Limited Licensed/Licensed Professional Counselor
        • Limited Licensed/Licensed Psychologist
        • Limited Licensed/Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor

In the role as a Behavioral Health Therapist, licensed professionals have the privilege of working with individuals to reach their hopes, dreams, and desires through person-centered planning. The Behavioral Health Therapist conducts intake assessments, provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy. He/she may assist in linking and coordinating individuals to other services and supports within Northpointe and within the community.  Opportunities exist to work in this role in a variety of programs with different populations of people including children, families, and adults.

Peer Mentor

The Intellectual/Developmental Disability (I/DD) Peer Mentor works with service recipients to achieve their goals which are identified through the person-centered planning process. A Peer Mentor has a living experience with I/DD and behavioral health services which is crucial for building relationships with service recipients. Openings in various programs including outpatient and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

Behavior Technician (BT)

Behavior Technicians work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst to provide Applied Behavior  Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism or with other behavioral conditions. The goal of ABA is to increase developmentally-appropriate skills to facilitate an individual’s independence.
