Research indicates that vocational skill building programs can assist an individual on their path to recovery. Vocational skill building programs are temporary programs that promote development of key skills necessary to obtain meaningful community employment. Supported Employment is among one of the evidence based practices related to vocational skill building.
Currently in Dickinson and Iron counties, we partner with Trico Opportunities to provide supported employment, job coaching, and skill building assistance to prepare individuals to be gainfully employed. In Menominee county, many of these services are offered through our Clubhouse.
